Our Story

ODoF Strategic Brokerage was born from the idea that practice transitions shouldn’t feel confusing, costly, or one-sided. Founded by practicing optometrists who have personally gone through acquisitions, cold starts, real estate purchases, and private equity exits, our team understands what’s at stake because we’ve been there ourselves.

What started as two doctors helping their colleagues evaluate deals has grown into a full-service brokerage collaboration with legal, financial, and matchmaking expertise, all tailored specifically for optometrists.

We’ve helped hundreds of ODs across the country make confident decisions, close fair deals, and ultimately take control of their professional futures.

With personal experience in cold starts, buy-ins, acquisitions, and exits, including real estate and private equity, he specializes in valuation, deal structuring, and financial modeling grounded in real-world banking standards.

Tax Accountant

Jackson Pace, CPA, is the founder of Refractional CFO and specializes in guiding optometrists through practice sales and acquisitions from the tax perspective. With expertise in tax planning, bookkeeping, and fractional CFO services, he helps ODs minimize tax burdens, structure deals efficiently, and transition smoothly while keeping their financial goals front and center.
